Only report status changes from official / trusted sources, NOT from random comments on social media or personal opinion.
Stick to indicating dates in your current time-zone.
The system takes care of matching time zones as needed.
Prioritize Reporting for Unregistered modders over Registered ones.
It is ALWAYS better if Registered Modders themselves list their contents. They have access to the Hound's
automated and bulk functions. These are faster AND result in more precision in recorded update dates
(changes detected by hour instead of by day).
Reports work on a file-by-file basis (NOT on a mod-by-mod basis).
If a mod has a package file and a script file, check if both were updated or only one. Report for one or both accordingly.
Make Report
Prioritize reporting for Unregistered Creators(indicated with 'ππ»').
Registered modders usually maintain their Mod Hound listings themselves.
Guidance
You can only make update reports about Mod Files which Exist in the system.
If the modder you are reporting for is Unregistered or always allows community editing, your report will be
available for our team to review as soon as it is submitted.
If the modder you are reporting for allows community editing only in cases where they are inactive on
the Hound (but active on other platforms), your report will be available to our team for review only if / once
the modder has not reported these changes themselves within a week.
